The Hollywood Sign

The Hollywood Sign is in Griffith Park above Los Angeles.

The trail will be about 15 miles as the crow flies...

Allow for about 6 hours 'n change...

There may be sudden and frequent stops for print making along the way...

The trail has quite a bit of up hill. However, good trail or tennis shoes will be fine.

Wear a hat. Without cloud cover; there isn't much shade.

Bring about 4 quarts of water and something to chew on...

We'll stop at Mt. Hollywood where there is a nice view over looking the Griffith Observatory.

From there, we will continue on to Mt. Lee & the Hollywood Sign.

After, we will walk down the Easter Trail for prints & a full view of the sign.

From the sign vantage point; we'll go to the Bat Cave that was used in the original Batman Series.

After the Bat Cave, we will press on to the observatory for a brief visit.

Drive about a 1/2 mile 'n change and then turn left at the stop sign (there will be a merry-go-round sign in front of you, on your left).  This is "Fire Road" and does not have a street sign.

You will also see a wooden post fence; follow the road around into the car park.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
