Ontario Peak (8693') via Ice House Canyon (13 miles RT/4100' gain)

To my long-lost, but not forgotten hiking friends...I'm back! :) I'll post more details about this hike later, but figured I'd better do this now before I make another excuse not to! Susan and I ran into Muku and her sons on this hike on Mom's Day! It made me realize what I've been missing for too long now. Anyway, I'll pick up a permit for twelve fellow hikoholics and meet you at the Ice House parking lot at 7:30 AM. A PHC at the Baldy Lodge patio for those interested is optional; mandatory if you carpool with me! I can take up to five on the PB who will share the gas. Also, I must apologize to those hundreds of you whom I have yet to meet, because I am going to limit this personal renewal club hike to my old friends...sorry. However, if they have all given up on me, and it doesn't fill up by Sunday, 5-19...then I'll open it up to some new friends!!
