Details
Last minute chance to try Indoor Rock Climbing-Experienced climbers too.
http://photos2.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/c/b/3/6/event_81232022.jpegI tried indoor climbing for the first time three weeks ago and now I'm hooked on it. It's a great workout and mentally challenging too, as you follow one of the colored routes up the wall. They have routes that range from pretty easy to super hard. Hiking and climbing go together well since many climbs require hiking to get there, plus, it helps build strength and balance. http://img2.meetupstatic.com/1723755200050492932723/img/smileys/biggrin.gif
*** Beginners will get a simple lesson on how to manage the belay rope. Climbing is done in partners: one on belay and one climbing.
The cost is $13 for a day pass, plus $5 to rent a harness and shoes, although they usually waive the rental fee for Meetup members.
They're open until 9 pm so you can stay as late as you like.
