La Jolla Canyon to Sandstone Peak- Pt Mugu State Park

This is one of my favorite winter hikes that allows for 360 degree sweeping views of the mountains and the ocean...this is an out and back hike, but has many junctions, so we will have to stay together

miles 20-22

gain 4-5k (including 800ft on the way back)

this is an advanced hike due to mileage, if you dont plan to stay with the group please bring a map- we will be going at a brisk-ish pace, w few stops

im not your mommy, camp counselor, cheerleader, or pep squad- you are adults and ENTIRELY RESPONSIBLE FOR YOURSELF...please know your limitations

***please park along PCH, but note the signs...they ticket...a lot...we will be going to LA JOLLA CANYON, NOT SOLSTICE...if you are at Solstice you still have a couple miles down PCH to drive...
