KCDesignCore February 2013: InDesign, Liquid Layouts, and DPS!

NEW DAY OF THE MONTH! NEW LOCATION!

As we discussed in January, Centriq Training is our new home...and the FIRST TUESDAY OF THE MONTH is our new date (this is a change from "first Thursday" to "first Tuesday").

This month, we'll be learning about the ins and outs of creating mobile applications and e-books/e-zines using the Adobe Digital Publishing Suite (DPS).

Open up a new world of possibilities.

Create apps that wow. Connect with customers on all leading tablets and smartphones. Attract new readers and tap into revenue streams that are the future of your company. With Adobe® Digital Publishing Suite, it's all possible.

Bring your laptop and join us for an evening of exploration and learning about DPS in KCDesignCore's first "in person" meeting of 2013 at a new time and a new place.

See you there! Bring a friend!

Thanks for the positive feedback! I enjoyed meeting everyone last night and hope I inspired you to investigate DPS. I uploaded the presentation (PDF) to the Meetup site a few minutes ago in the More | Files section. Let me know if you have any problems or questions.

Wow! What a great evening in our new digs at Centriq. Mark gave a very well-thought-out presentation and taught us some really useful tips from his own experience working with DPS. Thanks to everyone who came, helped, and made it a success.

It was great! I was blown away with the new InDesign features. I have been curious about app production for a while now. I need to learn more about the Creative Cloud and other services offered to developers. Mark you did a great job making it look so easy!

    Hi Buck,

I am glad you all have a new location. I moved to Texas almost two weeks ago so I cannot attend in person. Is there a way that I can connect using the internet?

    Thanks,
    Becky

I sure hope we can do a Connect meeting. Since it's our first time at Centriq, we'll have to see what kind of quality of connectivity we have there -- but if nothing else, I could record Mark's talk and post it later!

Is a laptop necessary, or can we just show up and follow along?

    February 4, 2013

    • Buck S.

No laptop required! Just come on over and we'll show you so you can take notes. :)
