Details
Event tickets, postcards, CD labels, magazines, annual reports, name tags, signage...think about ALL the work you design that might benefit from variable data.

To get an idea of why our April KCDesignCore meeting should be incredibly useful, read this post as seen in an online forum for printers:
"We have a job that just came in that's going to be a doozy. It's a 2-sided postcard with each side having the mailee's name and address as variable data. There's a problem, I haven't the slightest clue how to to do variable data!!!! (I'm prepress/designer, what the hell would I know about direct mailing?!?) I know InDesign has capability for data merge, but no clues how to use it or to make it do something of this magnitude. It's going to be a list of about 500 names..."
This month's meeting will focus on the use of variable data in our designs. Derek Berdine will show us how to take all that valuable information currently locked up inside your databases and spreadsheets and incorporate it into your visual designs.
We'll also talk about some of the recent new product announcements from Adobe.
As always, food and drinks will be provided by our local sponsor, TekSystems.
it promises to be a rewarding and useful meeting! See you then!
