We are more than happy to announce new Laravel meetup on 31st October at 18h in StartIt Centar, Savska 5, Belgrade. If you want to speak at the meeting please provide short abstract to laravel.belgrade@phpsrbija.rs . Your talk should be between 5 and 45 minutes. I am working in the industry since 2003. I’ve focused very fast in the web development with PHP. Laravel is the framework of my choice. After working for several companies I decided to start my own - my company 42coders is going to open office in Belgrade in November.

In era of big economic changes, the only way to protect yourself is to invest in yourself. This fast-moving world, pushing as everyday and we constantly need to learn new stuff. In the workplace, this is particularly important. We are in the age where we need to move from “knowledge workers” (knowing stuff) to “learning workers” (learning new stuff). In this talk we will see how organisations can support continuous learning at work, but also how we as individuals can improve ourselves everyday.

Started as a project manager in programming company. In that period I got familiar with Agile methodology. I was astonished how one team can work transparent and be self-organized. That philosophy I am trying to adopt both in personal and professional life.
