Certified LeSS Basics (CLB) - 2 Days. 4h Sessions.
·OnlineOnlineThis page is created for additional visibility.
The official registration page is here.**Course Description:**Large-Scale Scrum (LeSS) is a framework for scaling agile development to multiple teams. LeSS.works gives an overview. LeSS builds on top of the Scrum principles such as empiricism, cross-functional self-managing teams and provides a framework for applying that at scale. It provides simple structural rules and guidelines on how to adopt Scrum in large product development. The Certified LeSS Basics course is a brief introduction into the LeSS Framework. It provides an overview of the framework and some of the essential concepts that it uses. The Certified LeSS basics course is for anyone who is involved in a LeSS effort. Basic Scrum knowledge is expected (this is not a beginner's course) and can be achieved by attending a Certified Scrum Master or a Professional Scrum Master course, or thoroughly reading Scrum introduction material such as the Scrum Primer and practicing Scrum. You can read more about CLB and review pre-training materials here. **Agenda & Learning Objectives:**This review will combine instructor-led structured learning of key principles of LeSS, introduction to System Modelling and Q&A that is based on experience of practical implementation and lessons learned by experienced LeSS coaches and trainers.

HR: Gap b/w Science & Business (In Recruitment, Hiring and Career Management)
·OnlineOnlineSummary:
In the first LeSS book, *Scaling Lean & Agile Development*, several important HR-related experiments are recommended for organizations seeking to improve organizational and team dynamics, the quality of their workforce, and the work they produce. But how well do today’s recruiting, hiring, performance-management, and career-development practices support those goals?
Join us for an open and thought-provoking conversation with a senior HR recruiter Bob Waldo, who will share 36-years of his experience, to help us examine the realities facing both sides of the hiring process. We will explore:
* Key challenges experienced by job applicants
* Obstacles faced by internal recruiters and hiring managers
* Concerns about the quality and preparedness of candidates
* Communication gaps caused by differences in experience, seniority, and generation between interviewers and interviewees
* Misalignment among job descriptions, required skills, candidate expectations, career paths, and promotion opportunities
* The tension between rewarding individual performance and improving team and organizational performance
* The impact of individual bonuses on collaboration—particularly within banks and other large organizations
* Additional “uncomfortable” topics that are often discussed privately but rarely addressed openly
The event will combine prepared questions for our presenter with a live audience Q&A, creating space for honest discussion, different perspectives, and practical insights.
Whether you are looking for your next opportunity or representing a company trying to attract, evaluate, retain, and reward the right people, this conversation is for you. Job seekers, recruiters, hiring managers, HR leaders, and organizational decision-makers are all strongly encouraged to attend—especially those working in banks and large companies where individual performance is closely tied to bonuses and career advancement.
Come prepared to listen, challenge conventional thinking, ask difficult questions, and examine the gap between what organizations say they value and what their HR systems actually reward.Speaker's Bio:
