Monrovia Canyon Falls Hike

Details
Let's join the On The Move Inland Empire group for a nice short 3.4 mile hike to the Monrovia Canyon Falls. This is a very picturesque hike in bear territory located in the Monrovia Canyon Park with a gradual 750 feet of elevation gain on a mostly shaded single track trail. The difficulty level is easy to moderate depending on fitness level and hiking experience.

We'll start off on the the Bill Cull Trail just past the entrance gate and follow it to the Self Guided Nature Trail which we will follow for a short ways until we come to the junction with the Falls Trail. We'll then jump on the Falls Trail all the way to the "falls" and take a snack and water break before returning the way we came.
Due to the drought, its doubtful we'll actually encounter a waterfall at the end, but aside from the beginning of the trail which is fully exposed to the sun, its a beautiful trail from end to end that probably gives you more bang for your buck than the longer Ben Overturff hike located nearby.
