I offer inexpensive group instruction for beginners; through a series of three two-hour lessons, you will learn everything you need to know to play good chess. The lessons build on each other, so new members need to take them in sequence to get the most out of my instruction.

We also feature open play where those who are more experienced can come and play casual games against each other while I am teaching newer players. We welcome people of all ability and experience levels, and we have players ranging from beginner all the way up to USCF Master strength in the group.

Whether you are new to the game, first played it long ago, or have been playing for years, chess can become a lifelong hobby. I have taught chess for over 15 years here in Colorado and I am willing to discuss individual lessons for you or your children as well. Come join us for a game - it's your move!
