Beginners welcome! We'll make a small interactive web app using JavaScript tools like NodeJS and SocketIO, then publish it online with GitHub and Heroku! Don't worry if you've never heard of these things -- we'll walk you through each step. :) This workshop is free, but please consider making a small cash donation to support our gracious host Opodz (http://www.opodz.com/). Thanks!

How to prepare and what to bring:

• Beforehand, make sure you have a text editor! If not, install a free one like Sublime 3 (https://www.sublimetext.com/3) or Notepad++ (https://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v6.9.2.html)

• Sign up for a free account on GitHub.com (https://github.com/) and Heroku.com (https://www.heroku.com/)

• Bring your laptop, charger, and your curiosity! (No problem if you don't have a laptop; you can pair up with someone)

• (Optional) Bring a small cash donation if you think it's worth it :)
