As a nature-based religion, the best way to explore Wicca is in a natural setting! So I have run these since 2006 in various woods & pars of London. Yes at times it's cold or it rains... but we prepare (that too is part of being a Nature-Witch!)
Who is this course for?
This course is to introduce Wicca & Witchcraft to beginners & seekers! I often see so many people stumbling or making some mistakes or are nervous at rituals- so here it is - a full introduction. This is for any and all those interested or curious about Wicca & Witchcraft and like a simple, down to earth, friendly introduction...the whole lot in one half a day.. so you can decide if it's worth going further!
There are not many courses of Wicca run in London these days.. Sometimes my own mentors (Vivianne & Chris Crowley) run them in indoor venue. Sometimes I run them in indoor venues. Children of Artemis / Witchfest people run them once a year .this time in Glastonbury!!
So don't miss this opportunity!
Who is this course NOT for? If you are already initiated or fully aware of wicca and been in other training groups for many years / months, then this is NOT for you. Those interested in Advanced Wicca can join me for other courses in summer!
(note: People with much prior Wicca experience tend to be disruptive because they nudge the focus to higher levels to suit them, and it leaves others in these beginners baffled and feeling inadequate. That is not what I want for them).

• Consecrations, sacred space & magic circle
• Working with Elements & Quarters
• Horned God & Moon Goddess
• Magic & Spellcraft in Wicca
• Esbats (full moon) and Sabats (seasonal festivals)- Wheel of the Wicca Year
• Initiations & Coven life
Fee: £13 (per person)
By all means, rsvp as `attending' to be non-committal, and decide near the time to book or not. But You must book/pay in advance to confirm a space, as I need to know how many are coming to bring enough learning materials, notes, tools, magical items.
Cancellations must be done 24 hrs prior or no refunds will be given.
What to bring
• For your own comfort, please bring any food/drinks lunch (but avoid eating during course delivery!);
• bring flask of hot drinks (it's in february..still cold outside)
• ***Bring comfortable cushion/ mat to sit on, as well as a blanket / throw to wrap up ..during meditative work (or if it's just cold).
• Please wear warm coats, socks (those ankle socks are pointless!), scarf..
• Cigarettes may be smoked during breaks.
• We'll have some wine for ceremonial parts of the course & for a bit of social after/
• Strictly no exotic substance/ drugs etc!
• Note books/ pen (printed notes will be provided).
Recording / photography policy
No private recording by phones/ dictaphones. I will be recording the course (voice), will edit out any obvious members participations, and make it available on my website afterwards (free to those who attend the course!)
No photography during course delivery & practise. Otherwise, seek permission from others before taking pictures.
Practical Details for the Day (venue/transport).
We'll set up (yes, you'll help) the course space ..altar, seating area and a rain cover (just in case), find logs or bring own cushions / camping seats...and begin the course.
You may bring packed lunch or buy at nearby Cafe (full affordable cakes/food & coffee etc starting from £6+).
You can arrive by public transport (train to Wimbledon, then a quick bus trip of 10 mins..and a gentle walk of 10 mins to the meeting spot)..or drive in and park your cars for free.
Once we've gathered, we'll all walk up into the woods to the suitable spot (I've checked out a few spots and magically marked them already - as any nature-witch does).
We gather from 10.30am so that we can get the meet n greet preliminaries and actually start the course at 11am. We will break for lunch and short tea/coffee breaks. And we shall aim to finish by 4pm..but I will be around for a little bit longer to socialise and answer any questions & chat. (but remember, am oath-bound to keep certain things about Wicca secret, and can only reveal them to properly prepared & initiated wiccans).
Later in spring/ summer, I will resume more of the courses - Practical Magic workshops, deeper exploration of Initiatory Wicca and so on.. But the journey begins here...with a friendly introduction in a natural setting.. (no one has been doing that in London except me for 10 years!!)
