Anyone for an intern?

Hey guys,

I hope you're all enjoying the weather.

It's that time of year again where students are starting to look for work over the summer. As we have been working heavily with universities we are starting to get more awareness within the markets. As part of our service we are happy to try to connect you with interns free of charge... freecruitment if you will. If you would like to consider recruiting an intern then just let me know, we have a short list of people that we know are available but can also send your internship out to the LJC's little brother - the Graduate Developer Community, which has over 600 members.

For those of you that don't know about RecWorks - We are a specialist unique consultancy focussed around Recruitment and social netWorks, our core focus is on the Java and graduate markets. Our business model is very different from typical recruitment companies in that rather than spend heavily on SEO or new business cold calling, we do good things in the industry around building communities and organising events, we then spend time networking, building long term trusted relationships and proactively seeking referrals and recommendations.

In terms of how we use our approach to give us an advantage in the graduate market, we founded the Graduate Developer Community in 2009. It is a social network to attract students that are passionate about software development. As with the LJC it is organised and supported by a number of other figures in the industry as well as us. We have since invested vast amounts of time and money growing it and keeping it active. Our latest initiative within the GDC is the Meet a Mentor program, we have set up links with lots of universities to organise speed dating style events for students to meet representatives of 8-10 different companies in a few hours. This is designed to help students decide what they want to do in their career, hence become more passionate about their choices. We are not just finding talent, but developing it. We aim to meet as many students/graduates as we can at these events so that we can help connect you with passionate graduates.

If you are interested in recruiting graduates for your organisation please do let me know. This is not a free service, however we do offer extremely competitive rates.

If you are interested in a short term intern for the summer, let me know and we can help put the word out. This IS a totally free service. If you have no experience with recruiting interns work then visit the enternships resource zone. It has advice on everything including how to pay people:

If you would like any further information on any of the above please email me directly.
