TinkerMill: The Longmont Hackerspace meeting

We are now in possession of our first actual space!  So, let's use it for our next meeting on Tuesday, July 23rd.

The agenda is simple:  What should we do with this space.  Who's going to do what?  What do we need?  It's a group space, so it's up to all of you to determine what's next with it.

We're not sure about chairs (to sit in) availability yet, so, BYOC (Bring Your Own Chair) if you want to make sure you have a place other than the floor to sit.  :)

Better yet, bring chairs you'd like to donate or loan to space!  We can always use them.

Some on Tuesday and help plan our future!

Hi guys, I'm sure many of these things will be discussed at the meeting; but I have some questions. Are there going to be fees associated with using group space and membership and such? If so any idea how much per? And if not who/what is funding this opportunity. Just looking to see if there is a gift horse whose mouth I shouldn't be looking in or if this will be a member funded initiative? Thank you for your time.

Sean, Not 100% sure I understand the question, but, yes, we do have membership fee's ($50 mo for regular membership, $75 for families, $25 for students/starving hackers). Members can use the space for whatever (legal) activities they like, but it is a hackerspace focused, mostly, on making things, learning, sharing knowledge and having some fun. Looking forward to meeting you!
