Become "Marseille-friendly" and meet local French and Expats for conversation and fun! Meet english speakers and newcomers who want to speak french and english in a nice group, and discover this city. Marseille based group for french and english speakers of all ages and nationalities. We'll have regular events to meet- up and share interests whilst having a good time. Some events can be in Aix or even on Côte d'Azur locations. We ll' try to make our events bi-monthly. Nous organiserons des sorties au restaurant, dans les bars sympas de la ville, au cinema, et pourquoi pas à des concerts ? Et bien sûr nous participerons à des activités d'extérieur (plage, pique-nique...) ou sportives (rando) mais chacun à son rythme ! I am eager to listen to your own ideas about future events ! This group is now run on a cooptation basis, therefore if you want to become a member you have to answer first to a few easy questions about you, and then join us in one of our get-togethers.

2026 Halloween Pub Crawl
Loch Ness, 2 Cr Jean Ballard, Marseille, FRWe have a long Halloween tradition in the Marseille International Meetup group - a pub crawl on the Vieux Port, with everyone in disguise! Terrifying costumes, scary make-up, and a great night out. The next day is Sunday (and a public holiday), so there's no excuse for staying home! There's plenty of pubs to visit on the Vieux Port - who knows how many we can get to before the night ends? 🧛♀️
It's always more fun if everyone makes the effort to wear a disguise - you can be creative, you can be funny, you can just dress in black (if you prefer)! 👻 Last year, we had a great collection of disguises, you can see some of them here: https://www.meetup.com/marseille-international-meetup-association/photos/35673384/
We'll meet at 8pm at the Loch Ness Pub and we'll stay there for about an hour, so everyone has time to arrive. After that, I plan to move to the Little Temple Bar at about 9pm, followed by O’Malleys and then the British Pub. If you still have any energy left, there's O'Neals and then the Shamrock. Some of the pubs will have music, so we might stay a little longer, if the music and atmosphere are good. 😈
Obviously, there is no fixed schedule for this event - we'll move on to the next bar when we're ready 😇 If you arrive after 9pm, you'll need to call me to find where we are - don't worry, I'll send my phone number by email before the event!👺 You can stay for as long as you have the energy - or until it gets TOO scary... 🎃
