Monona Bay Shoreline Clean Up (monthly)

NOTE: The next Friends of Monona Bay (FOMB) Monthly Shoreline Cleanup is scheduled as part of the greater Madison area Earth Day Challenge Events on Saturday, April 23, 2011, from 9:00 a.m. - Noon.

The Friends of Monona Bay (FOMB) generally meet on the second Saturday of every month to walk the beautiful shoreline of the bay and clean-up the trash. There are a couple times during the year that they'll meet on the third Saturday to connect with City wide cleanup efforts. This event is a great opportunity to give back to Mother Earth and to meet some fantastic people. It is also a super event to bring the kids to. The organizers provide buckets and trash bags.
