Beginning Programming with Python

Details
Software Engineer and PhD Aliasgar Kutiyanawala will be teaching a Beginning Programming class with Python.
"For the first class, I would like to make sure that we all have a working IDE and can compile a Hello World program. I like to use PyCharm (its free) but everyone is free to use their own IDE's if they have a strong preference. Either a 32-bit or 64-bit machine is fine. Heck, you can even choose between Windows, Linux or OSX. I will bring the installers with me on flash drives.
I would like to focus on Python 2.x for now and maybe move on to Python 3.x if we have time later on.
It would be nice if everyone can bring in their laptops for the class. If you don't have one, its no biggie and we can figure something out. There is no requirement to purchase a book for this class."
