60 years ago on this day, Queen Elizabeth II was crowned Queen of the United Kingdom. To celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, we're having a party!! We can all gather around the TV and take photos!!
The house can hold 100 people.
Children are very welcome.
Bring a dish with several scoops so many people can try it. Make sure your dish is free of animal products so that everyone from omnivore to vegan can partake. If you are not experienced with plant based food, don't sweat it. Your food does not have to be homemade, deli food from Choices, Wholefoods, Planet Organic is fine. A fruit salad is also always great.
Please make a list of your ingredients so that people with allergies can easily navigate the dishes. We'll also separate the raw dishes from the cooked.
Additional: feel free to come early to explore the neighbourhood or go to Mundy Park: many trails, two lakes, ponds, outdoor swimming pool, 9 hole Frisbee Golf course (much fun!!), etc..
30min drive from down town via freeway or Hastings/Bby Mtn.
