Physicians As Entrepreneurs via Health 2.0 NYC

This Meetup, being held in collaboration with the new Doctors 2.0 Section of the Health 2.0 NYC Meetup, is focused on helping physicians understand and explore the world of entrepreneurship, and is designed to help healthcare professionals who are currently considering, or want to know more about, being more entrepreneurial in their professionals life. Being an entrepreneur is not just about creating new technology, but about taking risks and initiative outside the established boundaries -- physicians entrepreneurs can focus on products, systems and services, or even create 'mashups' between their personal interests and hobbies and their professional lives.

For this Meetup, we have assembled three experienced physician-entrepreneurs who have balanced more 'traditional' medical careers with commitments to innovation and entrepreneurship. They will share some of their experiences learning and managing the opportunities and challenges of working in these worlds, and lead an interactive discussion with the audience.
