Denver's Approach to Renewable Energy
In this presentation, Jerry Tinianow, Denver’s Chief Sustainability Officer, will talk about how Denver is approaching renewable energy, including goals and strategies.
About the Presenter
As Denver’s Chief Sustainability Officer, Jerry Tinianow works to ensure that the critical resources upon which the City depends are available and affordable to everyone, now and in the future. His work is organized around the City’s 2020 Sustainability Goals, which are among the most ambitious of any American city.
Jerry previously served as a national officer of both the Sierra Club and the National Audubon Society, and also practiced law for over two decades with two of Ohio’s largest law firms. Jerry received his undergraduate and law degrees from George Washington University.

The Tavern Uptown is directly across the street from Steuben's at the corner of 17th Avenue and Pearl Street in Uptown. We will be in the Pool Room (which is the private room in the back along 17th Avenue).

7:15-7:45pm - Wrap up and networking
During the announcements, we always welcome attendees to share announcements they have, including upcoming events and job openings with their organizations, so please come prepared to share with the group.
Since our chapter is still getting started, this meeting will be free for both members and non-members; however, donations will gladly be accepted.
