ESP Speculative Fiction Writer's Meetup
Details
Eli will be taking over the October Meetup in my absence. There will be a general discussion based on the ubiquitous online versions of "Writer's Rules". Everyone is invited to bring a "rule" from one of the lists for consideration and maybe debate!
We will accept three submissions for critique--first come, first served. The guidelines are:
• Submissions must be less than 10,000 words and entered in Files under MORE on the Homepage by October 6th.
• Please do submissions in Word or RTF but not .docx or PDF.
• Please preface items with [ESP Crit 10-13] so we know it's for our group.
• If submitting a continuing work, please do a synopsis each time (to be included in the word count limit).
Guidelines for doing a critique:
• You can print out a copy of the submission to make your comments on. It's OK to change the format to save paper.
• OR, you can read the submission and make comments on a separate sheet of paper to give to the author.
• OR you can make comments in your computer to forward to the author.
