Details

Because the change in venue for our February Meetup resulted in a shorter meeting, we decided to continue the Flash Fiction prompt exercise into March. Simply do a 250-word backstory on a character of your creation. (You can use Mike's list on the Facebook ESP-Group page but it's not necessary.)

We will also accept three submissions for critique, first come , first served. The guidelines for posting are:

  • Word maximum of 10,000 words including the synopsis on continuing works. It should be submitted in RTF or Word but not .docx or PDF.

  • Submissions must be prefaced by [ESP Crit 3-8] so we know it's for our group.

  • Please post in Files under MORE on the website Homepage by March 1st.

The guidelines for doing critiques are:

  • Read the submissions posted in Files under MORE on the Homepage with the preface of [ESP Crit 3-8].

  • You can print them out and make your comments and edits on it to give to the author.

  • Or you can make your comments on a separate sheet of paper.

  • Or you can do the editing online and forward it to the author.
