The Sailing Meetup is a community of sailors getting together to sail and talk about sailing. It's an opportunity to meet some new, friendly and interesting people in a very relaxed (normally) setting. On occasion, the weather or equipment does add a certain degree of excitement to the atmosphere.

It is an opportunity to sample many different boat designs and compare advantages, disadvantages related to different boating styles. It is also an opportunity to compare different styles of skippering.

I would like to take this opportunity to invite all our boat owners to consider hosting an event, if they have not done so in the past. It can be a rewarding experience. Please drop me a line if you would like to host. We have had many good ideas.

Last Season we had regularly scheduled events on Local Lakes, the St. Croix River and Lake Superior. We also had several events in the Brit1sh Virgin Islands.

New members with any degree of experience are welcome !
