If you enjoy movies, this is the group for you! We meet several times per month and try to hit 'em all: blockbusters, art house favorites, indie and foreign films, special events, etc.
We'll plan to get together at least 2-3 times per month. Usually on the weekends, but we値l occasionally take in a weeknight show as well. We値l try to mix it up between Friday and Saturday nights for the weekend shows and will also try to take advantage of matinee prices whenever we can. If you have a request, send me an e-mail! If I can稚 set up an official meet-up, we値l at least post in on the calendar so others can attend.
In addition, we will usually combine some kind of optional dinner or drinks either before or after the movie. I think the best part about seeing movies is sharing the experience with others.
I'll try to post events in advance to help you plan, but because of the nature of the business, sometimes movies will disappear from a particular theater or just disappear entirely. I値l set up the event based on all information available at the time, but understand that sometimes showtimes or even venues may change. All dates, times, and locations will be firmed up on the Thursday before the show, so be sure to check the meet-up page or your e-mail before you go. Also, I値l provide my phone number, so you can always call.
Hope to see you soon!
For the holiday weekend, I thought we壇 schedule something a bit uplifting! Let痴 plan to see a late Sunday afternoon showing of The Blind Side. In this movie, Sandra Bullock stars as a well-to-do suburban mom who forms an unlikely friendship with a struggling teen from a broken home.
Should be a relaxing wrap-up for a hectic weekend and a healthy dose of pick-me-up moving into December. Read more
