Details

THE NOVA SQL User Group meeting on 1/25/2016 is POSTPONED DUE TO THE WEATHER & THE MICROSOFT OFFICE IN RESTON BEING CLOSED. We will look at re-scheduling this for March 28th and doing a double session (hey....double the fun and hopefully less snow).

Networking/Food & Drink, Admin Notes: 6:30 -7:00

Main Session: 7:00-8:00

Speaker: Benjamin Franklin

TOPIC: Demystifying Master Data Services.

An Enterprise with best of the breed approach will most likely end up with several, if not many, different disperse systems storing data. Some of the disperse data set are similar and some are dirty. How to manage or govern this ocean of data? Microsoft has introduced Master Data Management since 2008R2 to help manage data quality. In this session, we'll explore what it is, it's design considerations to use, and real world examples
