Berry Blossoms Card and Paper Crafts Class - Aug 14, 2011

This is an opportunity to make coordinating cards and projects that all use the Berry Blossoms Designer Series Paper, the new In-Colors for 2011-2013, and the Fruit and Flowers stamp set.

If you've looked through the new 2011-2012 Stampin' Up! catalog and thoughts, "Where do I start?" This class will provide you with a variety of cards and crafty projects that you'll complete during class. New stampers are always welcome.

Samples of cards we'll make in this workshop are on my Blog and at the photo link on the Meetup site in the Photo Album for the Aug 14 class (https://www.meetup.com/NW-Houston-F-M-1960-Spring-CardMakers/).

We'll make the baseket with eight 3 X 3 inch cards and envelopes. We will make a paper strawberry and a large paper flower. We will also make three 4-1/4 X 5-1/2. We'll use sentiments stamps, Big Shot die cuts and embossing plates, punches and learn new techniques.

Your class fee includes a pack of 12 X 12 Berry Blossom Designer Series Paper (a $10.95 Value) and a Fruit & Flowers Clear Mount stamp set (a $15.95 value). You will use both in class plus you will have left-over Designer Series Paper. Registration Closes August 16 and payment is due at time of registration. What to bring:
First-time stampers can use my supplies. Regular workshop attendees will want to bring a 12 inch personal paper cutter with a cutting blade and a scoring blade, a bone folder, paper snips or scissors (we have a number of items you'll be cutting by hand), your own snail adhesive glue runner and a wet adhesive, like Tombow Multi-Purpose adhesive. We'll start off with a few snacks while we wait for everyone to arrive. We'll get to know each other better and than upstairs to the Craft Loft and the fun begins!
