http://photos3.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/a/7/b/e/event_60942942.jpegThis class will help you prepare for the holidays with holiday cards and treat holders. You'll love creating hand-made holiday cards for family and friends. This year I'm determined to get an earlier start and avoid the all-nighters and added stress as the holidays approach. Some of you have asked for a series of early Holiday card classes and this is the first in the series of Holiday Head Start classes. You'll make cards using a variety of styles ready for Fall and Winter Holidays. New stampers, seasoned stampers, and Demonstrators are always welcome!
Check out the samples of cards (http://cardmaking.meetup.com/71/photos/) we'll make in this workshop at the photo links. We'll make eight projects using an assortment of designer papers, ribbons, dies cuts, treat bags and embellishments. You can choose from a selection of sentiments that convey your thoughts. We'll use Big Shot die cuts and window shapes, punches, and heat embossing! You will use an assortment of scrapbooking tools, designer patterned papers, and cardstock, giving you the opportunity to try a wide assortment of stamping and scrapbooking products before you buy!
Register for class at: http://cardmaking.meetup.com/71/calendar/ ** Class size is limited. ** Materials are cut after your payment is received. PayPal preferred. Please RSVP if you attend or not to help me plan better for snacks and beverages, and to let others know if you'll be attending.
What to bring: First-time stampers can use my supplies. Regular workshop attendees will want to bring a 12 inch personal paper cutter with a cutting blade and a scoring blade, a bone folder, paper snips or scissors (we have items you'll be cutting by hand), your own snail adhesive glue runner and a wet adhesive, like Tombow Multi-Purpose adhesive. If you have them, we'll also use Red Sticky Strip tape, a paper piercer, a Mat pack, and dimensionals. See these products in the Stampin' Up! catalog, if you are new to stamping. http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/donnaross/catalogs
We'll start off with a few snacks while we wait for everyone to arrive. We'll get to know each other better and than upstairs to the Craft Loft and the fun begins! Earn free stamp sets!: If you register yourself and a friend (or two) who hasn't attended before or who isn't on my mailing list, you get to pick a prize from my Great Gift Box the day of class for each friend who registers on the site for the class and attends...so send the the link to our site to your friends. https://www.meetup.com/NW-Houston-F-M-1960-Spring-CardMakers/
