TREDD - Test Requirement Driven Development

Details
Michael O'Reilly, Director of Agility Transformation at ADP and author of Test Requirement Driven Development: The product development catalyst, presents on TREDD - Test Requirement Driven Development.
TREDD focuses on improving the efficiency of the product development process. It allows Agile methodologies, such as scrum, to execute and deliver product features to the marketplace with greater effectiveness, quality, and collaboration.
Test Requirement Driven Development places a renewed emphasis on quality and accountability, and provides the insight to allow product development and management teams to make the necessary changes in order to produce outstanding quality products on schedule, in a cost-efficient and highly collaborative manner. For Software Testing TREDD is essential for agile organizations because it highlights the personnel in the QA role on their key contributions. Not just in executing test cases, but rather by contributing in building great products by applying their experience, understanding, and talent at the beginning of the agile development cycle either in Sprints or with User Story execution for Kanban teams.
The QA role in implementing TREDD has been essential in my experience transforming low performing teams into efficient power teams!
The NYC Scrum User Group meets on the third Thursday of every month to talk about Scrum, to share experiences, to network, and to provide support for local Scrum practitioners.
