Monthly Meet-Up at Jimmy's #43- Local Fruit Ferments

September is peak harvest season and a wonderful time to have some fun fermenting with our locally grown fruits. Peach kombucha? Blueberry soda? Kimchi with apples or Asian pears? Fermented apricot jam? Plum wine? Let your creative juices run wild and take a walk on the sweeter side of fermentation.
Bring a ferment to share, or, if you don't have one ready, bring yourselves and your curiosity. We always welcome new folks with all levels of experience. Hope to see you there!

    Hoping I can be there, unless I get stuck at a work meeting, which is possible. Never been to Jimmy's... they're really OK with us bringing outside ferments? I've got a mash-up of peaches and raspberries fermenting since yesterday, it was delicious before it started fermenting but by tomorrow evening it should be interesting enough to share (at your own risk--I'm new to this... my judge of a successful ferment is that it tastes good to me).

      Jane, The owner Jimmy loves our group and we use a side room so it's separate from the restaurant. They do appreciate if we purchase a drink or food, but it's totally voluntary. See you tomorrow!
