Over the centuries, downtown New York has seen both triumphs and tragedies. Alongside great achievements lie darker tales—murders, hangings, mysterious accidents, and legendary hauntings said to still linger in the city streets today.
Our tours are specifically for our members only who live, work and play in and around NY. Join us for a spirited 90-minute walking tour through the neighborhoods and historic buildings of Lower Manhattan and the Financial District. We’ll share eerie ghost stories, fascinating history, and true accounts of events that shaped the city. And don’t worry—while the stories may be chilling, our guides make sure the experience is entertaining and fun.

Can I come alone?
Absolutely! Most participants (about 95%) attend solo, and it’s a great way to meet new people.
How scary is it?
All of our ghost stories and hauntings are based on documented events. The tour is more fascinating than frightening, historical and always designed to be fun.
What should I wear?
Dress warmly—we’ll be outdoors most of the night. A light rain won’t stop us (it only adds to the gloomy atmosphere!).
What if it rains?
We’ll keep you updated, but the tour runs in light rain.

NJ Transit Train from Penn Station to The Meadowlands
Or go directly to MetLife Stadium at 10am. UBER, Lyft all have drop off points. You may also park at the stadium ($45)
Tailgate Party: Starts at 10am with a full buffet of food, snacks, and drinks
Kickoff: At 12pm we’ll head into the stadium together (tickets are in Section 307)
Wrap-Up: Stay until the end (around 4pm) or leave whenever you wish

Join NYSN founder Dave Cervini for a fun evening of history, exploration, and socializing at Grand Central Terminal, one of NYC’s most iconic landmarks. This event is open exclusively to NYSN members and their friends who live, work, and play in and around the city.
Discover the fascinating history, hidden secrets, and little-known spaces of Grand Central. Along the way, you’ll see places you never knew existed inside the terminal. After the tour, the group will head to the Famous Oyster Bar to grab a bite and continue the conversation.
What to Expect
Meeting Point: Across from Grand Central at 6:30 PM
History & Photos: Learn the full story of the building, including the two train stations that stood here between 1871–1901. Rare photographs will bring its rich past to life.

This Halloween season, join a spirited group of NYSN members and friends as we venture into the eerie streets of Lower Manhattan—home to ancient graveyards, ghostly legends, and some of the grisliest deeds in New York’s history. By lantern-light (well… flashlights and street lamps), you’ll explore haunted sites, uncover chilling stories, and race to solve clues that lurk in the shadows of the Financial District.
It’s the perfect mix of fright and fun: explore, learn, laugh—and maybe get a shiver or two! We’ll split you into teams and equip you with everything you need to take on the hunt. Space is limited, so claim your spot… if you dare. 👀
After your haunted quest, stick around for a festive social at a nearby venue to share ghost stories, laughs, and a well-earned drink.
How It Works
7:00 PM sharp – Check in at the registration point.
Come solo or with friends—we’ll form teams of about 5 people.
Teams will have 90 minutes to track down as many clues as possible.
Prizes awarded to the team with the most correct finds.
(All clues come directly from the history, geography, and buildings of the area—we don’t plant anything.)
What You’ll Discover
From the 1600s to today, Lower Manhattan has witnessed hangings, hauntings, massacres, explosions, and mysteries. Along the way you’ll scour Bowling Green to City Hall, visit allegedly haunted sites, and uncover fascinating historical markers while piecing together the city’s darker past.
