The Story
What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. It has been a year since the Paramount Casino has changed ownership and Bobby Flynn, the new owner, is ready to celebrate! As the largest and most extravagant casino on the Las Vegas strip, The Paramount Casino is throwing a party of epic proportions. With the highest rollers and the gutsiest gamblers, the stakes are going to be high and there is no limit to what could happen. Everyone who is anyone in Vegas is sure to be in attendance for this grand event. From the high rolling hotel guest to the sexy show girl, the cunning cocktail waitress to Elvis himself– the guest list is as unlimited as the possibilities of how the night will end. Like everything else in Vegas, the party will be a gamble and there is no certainty to the events of the evening. Whose secrets will be exposed? Which lies will be uncovered? And who will fall victim to the lawlessness of the night? Your bet is as good as ours. Be prepared for a sinister evening in a city known for its secrets and its scandal. Can I come alone? Yes, most guests do! It’s a great way to meet new people.
Dress Code: Keep it neat, be yourself and look your best always. Feel free to get dressed in your Vegas best
Ages: 21+
About the event: This Murder Mystery is hosted by The New York Social Network. We are not a professional Murder Mystery company. We are a social organization that offers these activities as part of our events for people to enjoy a night out, try something different, make friends, celebrate an occasion with groups of friends, etc. It is done in a very fun and casual way at a local lounge. Some people get really into it and come dressed up for the theme an others just come to have fun, it’s up to you. THIS IS NOT A DINNER EVENT. It is more of a cocktail party atmosphere. The main thing is to have fun! If you have any questions feel free to reach out to us at 212-873-2256. Or email dave@newyorksocialnetwork.com.

Directed by Tony Award®️ nominee Jessica Stone (Kimberly Akimbo), with a book by three-time Tony nominee Rick Elice (Jersey Boys, Peter and the Starcatcher) adapted from Sara Gruen’s novel, and a soaring score by the acclaimed PigPen Theatre Co., Water For Elephants unites innovative stagecraft with the very best of Broadway talent in an authentic and deeply moving new musical that invites us all to give ourselves to the unknown.

DO NOT RSVP HERE GO TO THE MAIN GROUP
The New Orleans Heritage Music Festival (formerly known as Jazzfest) is a well organized multi-day outdoor music festival with 10 different stages spread out over 144 several acres that features top names and new musicians with all types of musical styles. Pop, Rock, Jazz, R&B, Gospel, Blues, Reggae, Swing and more! It is a calmer, safer and more sophisticated way to experience New Orleans than Mardi Gras. This will be our 16th year of bringing groups down and a great way to experience both the touristy and not so touristy attractions that the area has to offer. You’ll have an NYSN host as your guide and your activities planner for the weekend which will feature great music, fun activities and the most amazing food! Checkout this special video about the trip
Here is how it works:
-We have reserved a block of 9 rooms at The French Market Inn on Decatur Street which is in the famous French Quarter and close to everything! Rooms will be shared (2 per room) IF YOU WISH TO HAVE A SHARED ROOM AS A SINGLE YOU MAY PAY THE SINGLE SUPPLEMENT. We will pair you with someone compatible if sharing. This is a very cool hotel with beautiful clean rooms, authentic New Orleans atmosphere, modern amenities, a pool, gas burning lamps outside and an awesome staff. (You don’t spend a lot of time in the room anyway).
-There will be an NYSN host with you for the entire trip to help you get the best out of your trip.
-We will arrange for a place to meet the group on Friday for drinks then we will head to a local restaurant for dinner and go over what we will be doing for the weekend.
-Each day we will designate activities and meeting places so that you can join the group for breakfast, lunch, the concerts, dinners and other activities. You may also use some time to explore on your own.
Can I come alone? Yes 99% of those attending will likely come on their own.
What to wear: Dress for the weather. It is normally in the 80’s during the day. Shorts, t-shirts, sneakers are pretty much all you will need all weekend. Maybe something a little nice for the evenings. But still casual.
What is included? $850 (shared) $1,250 (single) includes 3 nights, 2 days concert tickets, a private tour of the French Quarter. Trip host expenses. All taxes and tips.
Not included: all meals, transportation to and from airport.
What is there to do besides the concerts: The are a ton of things you can do while you are there. There are hundreds of different tours (besides the one we will take), casino, river tours, cool shops and of course amazing music.
Space is limited to 16 people. Payment in full is due upon registration. No refunds after February 1st.
What will we be doing? We’ll find some great restaurants and local clubs to visit. I’ll bring you to some of the “must do” things like Cafe du Monde and Bourbon Street and I’ll also take you away from the touristy areas to where the locals hang out.
Is this a singles trip? Not really but I would imagine that most coming are single. Come for the experience first especially with someone who knows his way around.
How do I get there? You will need to arrange your own airfare. Some people are coming in earlier or leaving later so they can explore more. The airfares tend to be lower that way. If you do come early or leave late I can suggest things to do and cheaper places to stay. BTW plan to take a flight where you will have to change planes. There are very few direct flights to New Orleans.
$850 (Shared)/ $1,250(Single) is that expensive? For a festival weekend in New Orleans, NO. They jack up the prices of the hotels for festival weekends. Our hotel is right in the French Quarter so it is within walking distance to everything except the festival which is a short cab ride away. You want to be as close to the French Quarter as possible for many reasons. The little extra you pay helps cover part of my trip so I can be there to make your trip better!
I still have questions.. Great! Call me at 646-418-1098 or email dave@newyorksocialnetwork.com.
