What we’re about
Welcome to the Night Owls! We do everything but mornings.
We are a social group of people who keep odd hours. We are kind, respectful, can laugh at ourselves, and care about community. We hold most of our events near downtown Phoenix or along the light rail.
Our two rules to join:
- Clear Profile Photo: A real recognizable photo of your face, not distant or blurry, no one else in the photo with you.
- Real First Name: A real first name is used on your profile, not a handle, initials, or organization name.
These rules are important to us because we meet up in person, often at night.
Please note:
We will decline/remove you from the group if you don't permanently follow these rules, frequently no-show or vanish, solicit our members, or become inactive for over 90 days. Inactive members in good standing are welcome to rejoin at any time.
We look forward to meeting you in person soon!
Sincerely,
The Odd Squad

Midtown Central Phoenix, Midtown Central Phoenix (exact address the day of), Phoenix, AZ, USFor more info on the selection, please scroll to the end.
Welcome to Podd Club!
This club within our Meetup group is like a book club, but instead of reading, we will listen to a podcast before our discussion salon, which will be a small and intimate event.
The listening selection could be one long podcast episode but more likely shorter episodes in a limited series (2 to 7 hours total) on a true crime or paranormal topic. In either case, listening to it should take less time than reading most novels.
Because the venue is a member's private residence, the actual address will be sent to the final list of attendees the day before. The location is in Midtown, Central Phoenix and easily reachable by light rail and/or bus. This event is BYOB. Bring a snack to share if you like.
Very Important:
Please remove your RSVP if you have not finished listening to the selection three days before so that someone on the waiting list will have enough time to prepare to attend. To help prevent no-shows, RSVPs will be closed until three weeks before the event date. That is also when the selection will be announced.
Thank you!
