Re: [OC-Tech-Startup] Next Meetup: Calling all members!

How about people taking turns (over multiple sessions), asking for the group's help on issues, obstacles, problems they are facing.
I.e.: I'm looking for a tech co-founder that can help me... or I'm struggling to find ways to take the dive... or I'm stuck on how to market my product/service or I'm trying to find an idea I can develop and enhance.

People can help as a group with suggestions, ideas, support, feedback.

That way we can put the minds of many to good use.

Who wants to form a group and take one of the ideas to market. Instead of each pursuing their own idea, maybe several people can partner on one's idea that he/she can share and execute together - workshop turns into a real business.
Better own a piece of a successful company than the whole of a failure.

Hello OC Tech Startup team members, or OCTech'ers for short!

I want to engage all of you to help us plan and execute the next meetup. What we need are:

  1. ideas for topics
  2. format suggestions (i.e. workshop, presentation, mixer, 1-1 coaching, etc.)
  3. suggestions for location, duration, food & drinks, logistics, etc.
  4. volunteers to help organize and deliver a great meetup (I need help guys)

Also, it would be good to let the technical members provide some input and direction too. I am open to having back-to-back speakers or topics so that one could focus on product/business and the second one could be technical in nature (keeping in mind that it still MUST be relevant to our theme of startups, and not deeply technical).

Looking forward to getting your responses, through the message board please. Thanks.
