WELCOME TO YOUR GROUP where you will make Lifelong Like-minded Friends as we share a common journey to hike adventure and explore this Beautiful Place we call Home ( The Island of Oahu) and from time to time some of the other Great Islands of Hawaii-nei. Please remember that your Organizers are not paid and do what they do for you from the Good of Their Hearts and no other reason. Please treat them with the all respect and grattitude you have at your command and I am sure you will get Priceless memories and momentoes in return. Please pay your dues within 1 month or two meetups of joining or you will be removed if removed and you rejoin you will have 48 hours $10 a year is a very small amount for what you will get If this will put a burden on you contact me and we will work something out like group service instead of dues. Safety Tips for Hiking:
Inform a friend of your route and your expected time of return.
Never hike alone or go beyond your capability
Always bring water, basic first aid kit and rain gear, just in case.
Do not drink stream water which contains biological impurities
STAY ON THE TRAIL.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN HEALTH AND SAFETY
Plan your hike by knowing the terrain to be covered, the length of the trail, weather conditions, time of day, and hazards along the trail. Allow ample time to return before nightfall by figuring 1.5 miles per hour. Carry proper equipment, including a first aid kit and plenty of water. Wear proper shoes and clothing. Stay on the designated trail and be extra cautious when crossing streams and walking on wet, slippery trails or on loose, crumbly soil or rock. Hike in a group and keep track of those in your party YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR HAVE ACCOMPANYING ADULT TO PARTICIPATE IN ALL OUR ACTIVITIES. *GUEST*YOU WILL BE ALLOWED TO BRING THE SAME ADULT GUEST 2 TIMES ONLY AFTER THAT THEY SHOULD JOIN AND PAY THEIR DUES LIKE EVERYONE ELSE
