Happy New Year.  Hope you all had an enjoyable holiday.  Now that we've been back to reality - work and school, let's start our monthly meetup.

Our first meeting of 2014 will be held on Wednesday, January 29th at 6:30PM.  Our guest speaker, Sean Hanck, Manager at A Hundred Answers, will be presenting on Responsive Design.

About the presentation: You will go on a journey of discovery, exploring the some of the details around Responsive Design. Understand what it is and what it is not. This presentation is focused more on the functional side of the Design (the business drivers), but there will be a little technical exploration towards the end.

3) Editors Association of Canada's Speaker Night on  Wednesday, January 15th

Editors Association of Canada (EAC) kindly invited me as a keynote speaker, to provide a Freelancers Sales Training, for its Speaker Night.  The theme of the event is about Contract 101. If you are interested in learning about how to get more clients and higher prices, please join me.  Also, other local experts will be sharing their knowledge on the basics of developing contracts, winning contracts with the Canadian government, subcontracting, and more.
