• Databricks Unity - 'How much?!?!' - how to calculate DBU usage and costs of Your Databricks flows using System Tables - Maciej Jastrzębski
  The session will cover some short introduction to Databricks System Tables, and provide information on how to:
  - find information regarding clusters
  - find information regarding jobs
  - connect those informations
  - calculate DBU usage for given cluster/jobs
  - calculate COSTS for given cluster/jobs

• Maciej Jastrzębski
  15 years of experience in the Data World. Former Tester, Data Warehouse Developer, DWH Manager, BI Developer, Team Leader, and many more… Currently Principal Data Engineer at Volvo. Strong background in DWH, SQL, and ETL processes in the old on-prem world. Nowadays working in an Azure Cloud environment focusing on migration 'On-Prem to Cloud' projects. Using DataBricks in Azure for more than five years.

  I am a seasoned Data & AI Engineer, well-versed in Business Intelligence, Data Warehouses, Data Lakes and the Lakehouse. Over the past decade, my focus has been on the Microsoft Data Platform, specializing in the following key technologies: Apache Spark on Azure Databricks/Azure Synapse Azure Data Factory Azure Data Lake Microsoft SQL Server/Azure SQL
