Building Collaborative Groups with Starhawk
Wednesday, May 30th at the VBC Central Venue, 2800 SE Harrison St. $25 at the door.
In this experiential workshop. we’ll use games, meditations, ritual and small group processes to learn and practice the tools that can help us build healthy groups. We’ll explore issues of personal and social power, and look at ways to deal with difficult people and embrace constructive conflict. We’ll raise and focus group energy to celebrate our connectedness and to nurture resilient communities that can be joyful and effective agents of change.

The Village Building Convergence is a 10-day event held each spring where a convergence of citizens, natural builders and activists come together to help neighborhoods design and build their own community amenities. VBC also includes a 10-day perennial village at our central venue, where a delightful community dinner leads into a well-rounded evening of presenters and music. Come eat! Come dance! We can turn our neighborhoods into Villages. See our full 2012 listing of presenters, music and workshops at vbc.cityrepair.org.
