Saturday Evening Bowling in Columbia--all ages welcome!

We will have lots of fun at the Columbia location which is easy access from I-95, Rt 23 and Rt 29.

I typically get a coupon each month for discounted play and I will ask neighbors for their's too if need be.

IF YOU LIVE IN COLUMBIA, THERE IS A COUPON IN THE BLUE VALUEPAK ENVELOPE EACH MONTH. LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE A COUPON.

I WILL BE ORGANIZING A GROUP ONCE A MONTH AT VARYING TIMES PER MONTH.

GOAL FOR PRICING IS ABOUT $10- $12.50 FOR 2 HRS BOWLING W/SHOE RENTAL AND ONE PITCHER OF SODA PER LANE

PRICE DEPENDS ON HOW MANY COUPONS I CAN SCARE UP. MANAGER WILL NOT JUST GIVE US COUPON PRICE AND ALSO WILL ONLY ACCEPT SOME COUPONS. NOT MAX. NUMBER=SAME NUMBER OF LANES RESERVED.

The issue comes down to no reservations with coupons and the rate without coupon is $12.50 per person with 6 bowlers per lane.

Typically, they do not accept coupons at all with reservations, but she did agree to accept some. So, hopefully, the price will be around $11 each.

She was kind enough to make reservations through August without $50 deposit per event they usually require and she is allowing me to pay the deposit for this event next week when I get paid too. So, she did work with us the best she could. They are a chain and she has to follow policy as much as possible and she did give us flexibility on some things:)

BTW--the mention of teams and players per lane in the previous posts, please send me a note privately via meetup if you expect to play on the same lane as another member. If that is found to be mutually the case, I will try to make it work. CLEARLY YOUR GUEST WILL BE ASSIGNED TO YOUR LANE :)

Otherwise, I will be randomly assigning members lanes to play on and will have a "seating chart" set up as well as name tags. I will be printing out the list of attendees and putting them into "a hat" and grabbing one at a time assigning to teams of 6 per lane.

We are not playing for winning. We are playing for fun!!! This is a get out and move and laugh event, not a competition, so while the lanes score themselves, we will not be focusing on that.

Also, if we want to continue the fun and conversations, there are a few fast food places the next street over that we can converge on one of en masse :)

--ONLY $10 [no coupons needed]

--Friday, July 19th 9pm-11pm

--take a nap if you are not a night owl, but really if you can stay up for late night news, you can stay up for this!

--Adults only, 7 lanes reserved = max of 42 people, cut off will be the Wed am for RSVPs

AUGUST IS SATURDAY AFTERNOON BOWLING--BRING THE KIDS!

--Again regular price is 12.50 per person, but coupons can bring down the price

--Saturday, August 17th, 2-4 pm

--12 lanes reserved = max of 72 bowlers and any number of on-lookers :)

--RSVPs will close the Thur before so i can confirm number with bowling alley.
