SF Nightowls Special Edition: Node.js Hack Night

Details
Get Hacking With Node.js
We’re hosting some of the best and brightest in the Node.js community this time around, and bringing a top-notch speaker (and other goodies) from our sponsor HP/Palm!
From 8:00 to 8:30 p.m. Kevin Hague of HP’s Palm Global Business Unit will briefly demo how a Node.js web server can be implemented on a webOS device such as Veer: Using a mixture of HTML5 and Node.js, a system can be developed allowing an individual to create a fully featured presentation system on their webOS smart phone. (If you're interested in more Node.js community events, check out fellow meetup group Node.js ++ (Serverside Javascripters) Club SF (https://www.meetup.com/Node-js-Serverside-Javascripters-Club-SF/)).
Giveaway: HP will bring TouchPads for everyone to try out, and they're also doing a giveaway!
After the Demo: Get set to hack the night away with your fellow devs and other colorful Nightowls on whatever your heart desires. The HP Palm team will be sticking around for a bit to mingle, answer questions, and let you play with their super cool new toys.
Free Food & Drink: As always, we'll have plenty of good eats. Oh, and libations. For free.
What If I Don't Give a Hoot about Node.js?
Not into Node.js? Just want to get work done? No worries - SF Nightowls has you covered. SF Nightowls is a late night coworking group. Bring your laptop, notepad, and whatever else you need to work on your current project. Whether you're finishing the latest New York Times Bestseller, editing photos and video from the event you shot, or building the next Google, we're all in this together!
We're meeting once again at the ever fabulous Citizen Space (thanks for hosting!). We'll be there from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.
NOTE: The RSVP limit expires after 10 p.m. - so if you're interested but see we're "full," just come after 10 and we'll (likely) have a seat for you.
