Additional groups include: San Gabriel Valley HAK (SGVHAK), Pasadena Ubuntu Hour, SoCal LiveCode User Group, Infosec Syndicate, SGV-AI & Machine Learning Club, and Software Engineering.
We are a community of people interested in topics such as, but not limited to: Linux, open source software, hardware hacking, microcontrollers, security, software, artificial intelligence and machine learning and Ubuntu.

SGV Linux Users Group Monthly Meeting
Pitfire, 730 South Arroyo Parkway, Pasadena, CA, USSGVLUG is now over 30 years old. You can find a brief history of our group here. SGVTech started as an umbrella group for SGVLUG circa 2014, so we've been on Meetup for about 12 years.
We weren't able to do this in December, so let's meet up in February at Pitfire Pizza instead of IHOP. We'll have non-breakfast foods and a wider drink selection.
Whether you're a regular attendee or a newbie, come join us to talk tech and open source and the upcoming SCALE open source conference (March 5-8 at the Pasadena Convention Center).
This is our last LUG meeting before SCALE, so let's coordinate on either a Birds of a Feather or Happy Hour during SCALE, when we'll see some familiar faces who used to attend LUG or intermittently attend LUG.
I'll post a separate meetup for SCALE, but if you haven't already, you can use our discount code SGVLG to get 40% off the full SCALE pass. The price will be going up after Feb 14th.

SGVLUG is one of the oldest and most active Linux User Groups in the Greater Los Angeles area. In addition to Linux, the group also shares interests in other free and open source software, all forms of technology, and the discussion of issues that arise with the these new tools, such as privacy rights.
SGVLUG attracts members from throughout LA County including Pasadena, Glendale, Burbank, and eastward throughout the San Gabriel Valley. Our members include software developers, system administrators, hardware engineers, and software users of all levels of experience. Many work in the technology field as employees, contractors or consultants, and enjoy the learning and networking opportunities available from the group. We also have many members that serve as volunteers of their time and skills at various local events, including the annual Southern California Linux Expo (SCaLE).
