Speaker: Junaid Islam, Founder and CTO of Vidder

Junaid Islam is the CTO and founder of Vidder which provides distributed access control solutions to Fortune 500 companies. Prior to founding Vidder, Junaid founded Bivio Networks which developed the first Gigabit speed software based security platform in the industry. Earlier in his career Junaid helped create networking standards such as Frame Relay, ATM and MPLS while at StrataCom and Cisco.

In addition to his work in the technology industry Junaid has served at the local and national levels. Junaid served as the Human Relations Commissioner of Santa Clara Country (Silicon Valley) from 2002 to 2009. Currently Junaid is the Co-Chair of the Software Defined Perimeter (SDP) research group which supports a number of US national cyber security initiatives.

Ganesh brings 18 years of innovation and product development experience in security technologies at high growth companies. At Palerra, he drives all engineering, architecture and technical operations functions delivering LORIC, the leading CASB solution. LORIC automates the lifecycle of security for the entire cloud stack ranging from configuration management to threat detection all the way to incident response and remediation.

Prior to Palerra, Ganesh was Senior Director of Engineering for Oracle within their Identity Management and Security products division. At Oracle, he conceived & built the security platform, which is the foundation upon which Oracle Public Cloud, Oracle’s Fusion Middleware and Fusion Applications are built. He holds multiple patents in application and data security, and is an active participant in security standards councils, as well as various open source initiatives and communities
