We have some of the leading security practitioners talk about the key challenges they face and the main hurdles they need solutions for. The detailed agenda should be updated closer to the final date.

Bios:

Michael Machado is the CSO of RingCentral, Inc. where he and his team are responsible for cyber security and service abuse prevention. During his career, he has successfully driven business objectives into actionable information security and SaaS product offerings at companies ranging from startup to Fortune 100. A frequent presenter at multiple security conferences, Michael holds CISSP, CISM, PCIP, and CIPM certifications. RingCentral is the market leader in Unified Communications as a Service with over 300,000 business customers.

Anshu Gupta is the Director of Information Security at HelloSign, a leading eSignature company. Anshu is a long time security practitioner, having served as a trusted advisor on information security issues to Fortune 500 companies at Ernst & Young and KPMG and recently in senior security management roles at Esurance and Coupa Software. Anshu holds the CISM, CISA, PMP and CIPP certifications.

Debra J Farber is a Sr. Director in Visa’s Global Public Policy Department, where she compiles and develops critical insights on a range of public policy topics that impact the payments industry generally and Visa Inc. specifically. Her portfolio includes a focus on global public policy issues associated with privacy, security, and cybercrime. In addition, Debra is also a co-founder of Women in Security & Privacy, a Bay Area based fiscally-sponsored project of Community Initiatives that promotes the development, advancement, and inclusion of women in security and privacy. She holds a BA in English from Binghamton University and a JD from Brooklyn Law School. Debra has also earned the CISSP-ISSMP, CIPP/US, CIPM, and CIPT designations.

Tim Mather is Chief Information Security Officer for Cadence Design Systems, a leadingEDA (electronic design automation) firm. He is a long-time information security practitioner, having also served in senior security roles previously at Splunk as CISO, RSA Security at Chief Security Strategist, Symantec as CISO, VeriSign, and Apple. He has co-authored two books on information security and is a CISSP, CISA, and CISM. He holds Master’s Degrees in Information Assurance from Brandeis University, National Security Studies from Georgetown University, and International Policy Studies from Monterey Institute of International Studies. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Economics from the University of California at Berkeley.

Vishwas Manral is the CEO of Nano Sec a stealth mode security startup based in the Silicon Valley. He is the Vice-chair of the CSA-SV chapter. He has in the past been the Founder, CTO & Head of Products at Ionos Networks, where he took the company from idea to early revenues. He has in the past held various roles like Distinguished Technologist/ Chief Architect/ Principal Engineer in both large companies and startups.

Andrew Daniels has more than twenty years in the information services and security and has lead security at a number of companies. Prior to joining Qubole, Mr. Daniels spent four years leading and growing information security at ClearSlide an enterprise Software-as-a-Service and has also held leadership roles in information security at Microsoft, Shutterfly, Oracle and NetSuite. As the leader of information security he has guided programs around a number of critical initiatives that has increased security, trust and protection of crucial assets and information.
