Monthly Vegan Potluck and film, "Symphony of the Soil"

We meet the second Sunday of every month for a vegan potluck and special program.

Doors open: 5:30

Dinner: 6 p.m.

Film: 7 p.m.

Attend the potluck, the film, or both.

We're excited to co-sponsor this special showing of Deborah Koons Garcia's acclaimed film …

Symphony of the Soil, a feature film that explores the complexity and mystery of soil. Filmed on four continents and sharing the voices of some of the world’s most esteemed soil scientists, farmers, and activists, the film portrays soil as a protagonist of our planetary story.

Using a captivating mix of art and science, the film shows that soil is a complex living organism, the foundation of life on earth.

Thank you to GRAS and CFLC for co-sponsoring—and for providing the film. So much territory covered, and much info we can use.

We won't be there, but I saw the film at the Wild and Scenic Film Festival, and it was fabulous. You'll go home and want to put your hands right in some marvelous dirt!
