Monthly Vegan Potluck: Solar Cooking Demo

Learn how easy it is to cook with the sun! Get the heat out of your kitchen and let the sun do the cooking. Ilsa Hess, SVS board member and volunteer from Solar Cookers International (www.solarcookers.org (http://www.solarcookers.org/)), will demonstrate different ways to cook with the sun. Solar cooked food will be available to taste as part of the potluck.

Potluck. Bring:

• a vegan (no animal products, including no eggs, dairy products, or honey) dish to feed at least eight;

• your plate, bowl, cup, eating and serving utensils;

• a list of ingredients.
