Scrabble for Eleanor *Benefit*

Details

As some of you may know, one of our regular Scrabble players, Debbie Reyes, has a 4-month old granddaughter who recently was hospitalized after she stopped breathing last week.

Eleanor was unconscious for 9 days, but just woke up! She has permanent brain damage, and will require a lot of expensive care in the near and long-term future.

Andrew and Andrea Weiher, who have also been to Scrabble events, are two of the most loving parents Eleanor could have. They also have a 4-year-old girl. We want to support them in every way we can, so we are organizing "Scrabble for Eleanor" to raise money for the family.

Please join us for this Scrabble Benefit. You can come for all 4 hours or just a game. ALL LEVELS ARE WELCOME! We'll be helping to organize ongoing games of 2, 3, or 4 players and can help set you up with a game you'll enjoy. Or get tips you really can use from some of our more experienced players.

We're not suggesting a specific donation amount - donate what you can. We also will be having a raffle for prizes that have been donated.

Feel free to bring friends. Let's help this amazing little girl and her family!
