This group is open to anyone interested in reading and discussing books that relate to feminism in some way – whether they are exploring the intersection of feminism and pop-culture (Bitch magazine-style), novels with feminist characters or themes, classics of the genre, or any book that lends itself to a good discussion from a feminist point of view.

This is meant to be an inclusive group – anyone who identifies as feminist or wants to learn more is welcome!

Once the group gets rolling, I hope we can meet periodically (bi-monthly or so?) to discuss a book that we’ve chosen together ahead of time.

I am in favor of mixing up the kinds of books we choose, but once we begin to meet we can get a sense of what is the most interesting to everyone. But we should definitely vote on the books to make sure we are choosing ones the group is interested in!
