Hello Visualizers!

Our next meeting will be the evening of Tuesday January 8th. Save the date to make sure you can attend, as our special guest will be Andy Kirk, the man behind the excellent blog http://www.visualisingdata.com

He's coming to Seattle to give a visualization training on Wednesday the 9th. Check that out at:
http://www.visualisingdata.com/index.php/training/

Doors, drinks (including beer), and snacks at 6pm.

At 7 we'll take brief presentations from anyone interested in sharing what they're working on, getting feedback, etc.

Best, Noah

A quick note to people using the IMB building link, the address as linked takes you to Queen Ann, rather than Downtown. It should be[masked]th Ave, linked here: http://goo.gl/maps/Nta5g

Good catch Jim! Thanks for that. Not sure why meetup got that wrong; I'll try to fix it.

There isn't parking for this event; I believe you need to pay for street parking until 8pm. The venue is also very close to all kinds of mass transit.

I'd like to show a few slides at the 7 PM session, if that's the type of presentations you are thinking about. Any preferred format (bring a laptop, Powerpoint on memory stick, online Google doc)? Thanks.

    • Noah I.

Hi Bill, Thanks for offering to share your work. Laptop or memory stick are probably the easiest.

Great. I'll bring both, just in case. Thanks!
