WILA Games and Education Industry Collider
The Collider returns Monday, November 10, 2025, at 6:00 PM at our new venue Cornish Playhouse (just across Seattle Center from PacSci).
The Washington Interactive Learning Alliance (WILA) co-founded by Seattle Indies, Seattle EdTech Meetup, foundry10, and Perfect Day Games, is teaming up to bring you a classic Collider evening event featuring a fireside chat with Portal creator Kim Swift, a panel discussion with industry leaders in the space, breakout roundtable sessions and our usual expo floor. You will also get to hear an update from the WILA sponsored capstone project team at UW last year and the exciting tool they created to specifically help game developers and educators think about building games that are classroom ready.
The focus of this year’s Collider is making games classroom ready, whether you're an educator, a game developer, or simply curious about the future of education, the Games and Education Collider is the place to be. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to connect, learn, and be inspired!
Food will be provided at no cost. If you have any questions or you would like to exhibit a game, project, product or technology at the event please reach out to us at contact@seattleindies.org.

Playtesting Club
Stoup Brewing - Capitol Hill, 1158 Broadway, Seattle, WA, USLooking for feedback on your game? Only had other game developers try it? Playtesting Club is for you!
Playtesting Club takes place at Stoup Brewery in Capitol Hill. Set up a laptop and have strangers from all walks of life try your game! It’s never too early to bring something - as a wise game developer once said, “as soon as you have something that you can move on the screen, hand someone the controller and see what they think.” Whether you have a simple prototype with programmer art or you’re close to shipping something, bring your game! We don’t require polished art here - make sure it’s fun before you pretty it up!
You’re going to get feedback either way - by playtesting, or eventually in your Steam reviews. Why not get ahead of it and get that feedback before you release? Come to Playtesting Club to ensure your steam reviews will be rock solid!
