This event is free and all the jewelry is available for purchase.

The Bead for Life program supports women in Uganda by teaching them entrepreneurial skills that allow them to start their own businesses, thereby helping break the cycle of poverty in their communities. Bead for Life seeks to create sustainable opportunities for women to lift their families out of extreme poverty by connecting people worldwide in a circle of exchange that enriches everyone.

Take a look at examples of the lovely jewelry at http://www.beadforlife.org .

The Secular Hub is also conducting a canned food drive. It is not required, but any donation of a non-perishable food item is greatly appreciated.

Hope to see you there!
