Shut Up & Write! Red Rock

Directions: From El Camino Real turn onto Castro St. toward downtown. From 101 take the Moffett Blvd exit and go toward downtown (Moffett becomes Castro). The Red Rock is on the corner of Castro and Villa. Parking can be challenging, but there are several lots behind the Castro businesses. Turn on Villa or Dana to access them. Enter the lots from either Hope or Bryant Streets (they run parallel to Castro).

This awesome coffee shop is near the end of Castro in downtown Mountain View, a block down from Books Inc. It has a cool bar and interior, (that incidentally was just redone) with photos and art that change periodically and a comfy upstairs. The coffee is good and they also have really good food and sweets that change. The baristas are really nice and the only ones who rival their latte art are the ones at the Bitter + Sweet in Cupertino.

The basic schedule would be for introductions and arrivals to happen between 1:30 and 1:45 pm. At 1:45 we start writing for at least an hour. You can stay longer if you want.

We generally meet upstairs on the second floor because it's so hard to guarantee seating at the single tables downstairs. Look for the sign(s). Might be displayed on a table.

There is no dedicated organizer for this event so each attending member can help by printing out a tabletop sign (from the More/Files menu at the top of our web page) and bringing it each week.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
